1. Welcome to Firefly!

3. Membership

This document outlines the membership terms and conditions at Firefly.
These terms and conditions apply from the date you indicate your acceptance on the Firefly website or Member App.
Members must be aged 16 or older on the day of membership commencement.

2.1. Firefly: Refers to Sophie Aldred, trading as Firefly Fit, a sole trader and any affiliated business operated by Sophie Aldred.

2.2. Class: Denotes a group fitness or personal training session delivered by Firefly.

2.3. Member/You: An individual with current Firefly membership.

2.4. Website: Refers to the website www.fireflyfit.co.uk

3.1. Membership

3.1.2. Your membership with Firefly will start from the date you make a payment.

3.1.3. Membership will automatically renew on the same date each month unless you cancel, or transfer your membership in accordance with clause 6.

3.1.4. Periodically, we may offer discounted types of membership with specific conditions. Refer to the Website for details.

3.1.5. Discounted membership conditions will be verified before applying any discounted rate.

3.2 Membership Types

Ignite

Commit with flexibility to cancel anytime.
5 classes within a month.
Paid monthly, cancel anytime. Unused classes not rolled over.

Glow

Commit with flexibility to cancel anytime.
10 classes within a month.
Paid monthly, cancel anytime. Unused classes not rolled over.

Blaze

Commit with flexibility to cancel anytime.
15 classes within a month.
Paid monthly, cancel anytime. Unused classes not rolled over.

4. Pay-As-You-Go (PAYG) Classes

4.1. Single Class Credits: Single class credits are available for purchase.

4.2. Payment Process: Payment must be made in advance through a credit or debit card to our authorised collection agent, Firefly, or its nominee.

4.3. Cancellation and Transfer Policy: PAYG classes can be cancelled up to 2 hours before the scheduled start time and can be transferred to another session.

4.4. Refund Policy: Refunds are not available for PAYG classes unless under the discretion of Sophie Aldred.

4.5. Rescheduling: Rescheduled classes must be utilised within one month of the original class date.

5. Firefly Venues and Classes

5.1. Before attending any class, you must book via the Member area of the Firefly website.

5.2. Cancellation of booked classes is required; failure to attend without cancellation may result in booking restrictions.

5.3. Classes cancelled more than 2 hours before the class scheduled time will be credited back to your membership.

5.4. Classes cancelled within 2 hours of the start time will not be credited.

5.5. In the event of the instructor cancelling a class the class will be refunded to the member’s membership.

6. Instructor's Holiday and Class Availability

6.1. The Instructor shall be entitled to take holiday days throughout the year. The specific holiday periods shall be communicated to the Members in advance.

6.2. The fees for the Instructor's services have been calculated, taking into account the anticipated holiday days. Therefore, no compensation or adjustment in fees shall be provided for periods during which no classes are conducted due to the Instructor's holidays.

6.3. While there may be instances where no classes are scheduled due to the Instructor's holidays, it is anticipated that, for the majority of the time, a selection of classes will be available during the month for Members to utilise their allocated class credits. As classes are scheduled on a monthly basis, any temporary absence of classes during a specific week shall not affect the overall availability of classes for the month.

6.4. Members are encouraged to utilise the selection of classes offered during the month, and any missed classes during the Instructor's holiday period can be compensated by attending alternative classes within the same month.

6.5. By agreeing to these terms, Members acknowledge and accept that the class schedule may be subject to occasional adjustments due to the Instructor's holidays, but alternative options will be provided to ensure the continued availability and utilisation of class credits.

7. Membership Fees

7.1.2. Pro-rata payment on joining; thereafter, monthly fees are paid in advance on the first working day of the month, unless stated otherwise.

7.1.3. Payment methods include debit/credit cards or direct debit via our authorised collection agent, Firefly, or its nominee.

7.1.4. Missing Membership Fee Payments

7.1.5. Multiple attempts will be made to collect fees; non-payment may result in membership suspension.

7.1.6. Unpaid fees may be referred to a third-party debt-collection agency.

7.1.7. Membership payments overdue by more than 30 days may incur an administration fee.

7.1. Monthly Membership Fees and Advance Payments

7.2.2. Changes to membership fees will be communicated with at least one calendar month's notice. Members have the right to cancel within 14 days if new terms are unacceptable.

8. Cancelling Membership

8.1.3. If you choose to rejoin after cancelling you will be subject to paying the current membership prices as detailed on the website.

8.2. Transferring Membership

8.2.2. Membership is personal and cannot be transferred.

8.3. Our Right to Cancel Your Membership

8.3.2. Membership may be cancelled immediately for breaches, risk to health and safety, unauthorised use, or inappropriate behaviour

9. Your Responsibility for Your Possessions

9.1. Personal possessions are brought at your risk; we do not accept responsibility for loss or damage.

9.2. Report accidents or injuries to the instructor immediately.

9.3. Adhere to safety instructions; we are not liable for injuries except in cases of negligence.

10. Personal Training

10.1. Personal Training terms are covered directly with Sophie Aldred, and if you decide to proceed, you will subsequently sign a separate Personal Training contract with her.
